Gerald Malloy running for US Senate in Vermont 2024 entered politics for open Vermont US Senate seat after Patrick Leahy retired. He won the Republican primary defeating Christina Nolan and Myres Mermel but lost to Democrats Congressman Peter Welch. Malloy secured 28% votes against 68% of votes favor Welch.

Malloy said, “In 2022 he learned a lot as a potential candidate” Malloy raised issues of open border, drug problem, crime problem and homeless problem as his primary focusses. After his announcement to run for US Senate in Vermont 2024, there is a huge response from the people of Vermont state.
